Get ready to use your BBq to prepare some delicious veggie as a side to your steak! Once you know how easy the process is, you’ll never spend the money on those jarred roasted peppers again. For this recipe choose the most sweet and tender peppers: the red bell are the best, mixed with orange and yellow. You can grill the peppers in advance and dress them with oil, garlic and fresh basil when it's time to eat. Have fun!

2 Red bell peppers
2 Yellow Peppers
2 Orange Peppers
Few leaves of fresh basil, coarsely chopped
1 clove garlic ( or more if you like!), chopped
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt & Pepper to taste
Prepare outdoor grill for covered direct grilling on medium and put the peppers on the grill. Cook until skin blisters and peppers soften. You can let the skin brown a bit if desired ( 20- 30 minutes). Set them in a plastic bag for 10 minutes, (this will help the peeling process). TIP: To peel and clean the cooked peppers wear a pair of dishes gloves! Discard the top and the seeds, peel off the skin. Cut each pepper in quarters. Add fresh garlic, basil, salt, pepper and oil. You got the best summer side ever!
